Modules allows you to extend the basic system functionality in a virtually unlimited number of ways. Below you can find an official list of modules that you can install to your eFront installation. If you have build a module that is worthy for the rest of the community don't hesitate to contact us about adding it to the list. How to install a module:
a) Download it
b) Enter your eFront installation as Administrator and go to modules option
c) Import the module

How to activate a module:
a) Enter eFront as Professor
b) Select a lesson and go to lesson administration option
c) Click on an installed module to activate it for that specific lesson

Available modules from eFrontlearning

Conference (v2.5)

This module offers a bridge between eFront and the video conferencing (real time communication) tool DimDim. In order to use it you should already have installed DimDim on your server.

Lesson blogs (v1.0)

This module allows you to create multiple blogs inside each lesson of eFront.

Lesson sidebar (v2.1)

This module gives the ability to switch between lessons via the left sidebar. Updated to take into consideration course rules about lesson accessibility

eFront Wiki (v1.1)

This module allows you to create a wiki site inside each lesson of eFront. All students and professors can create and edit wiki pages.

GIFT/AIKEN module (v1.0)

This module allows you to import test questions to your lessons using the GIFT or AIKEN format.

Certificates per Lesson (v1.0)

This module allows professors to create certifications per lesson.

Quick mails (v1.2)

This module allows users' to send e-mails directly to their students/professors from lesson's control panel

Translate (v1.0)

This modules uses the Google's translation API to integrate translations between any language pairs into your lessons

Thumbnails (v1.0)

Upload images and build thumbnail lists. Students can view the full image and traverse the images by clicking on them

Ad blocks (v1.0)

Show images or banners that roate inside your lessons. Each image redirect to chosen URLs. Images rotate after 10 seconds.

Quote of the day (v1.0)

Build lists of quotes for your lesson and randomly show them on the lesson's dashboard

Billboard (v1.2)

Integrate to your lesson's dashboard a visually appealing introduction that can include images, sounds or videos.

RSS (v1.3)

Integrate RSS feeds inside your lesson's dashboard. By using this module you can consume any type of RSS feeds available on the internet.

YouTube (v1.2)

Build and share lists of youtube videos with your students. Youtube videos are directly embedded to the lesson's dashboard.

FAQ (v1.2)

Build "frequently asked questions" lists for your lessons. Use it to answer basic and common questions that arise frequently among the students.

Links (v1.0)

This module offers external links functionality for your lessons. When activated you can create an unlimited number of links that will be visible from the main lessons page together with their description. Use it to easily share interesting external resources with your students.

Last logins (v1.0)

Check who last login to your lesson directly from your dashboard.
