VoIP is the future. Analog telephony is the past. SOLO Gateway is the bridge between these two worlds, allowing to connect a number of analog phones and land-lines to SOLO Gateway, besides VoIP support. Analog telephony connectivity is provided by specialized hardware. Each unit can supply up to 12 analog connections, either external land-lines or internal analog phones. Using more than one unit to increase this capacity gives SOLO the flexibility to grow along with the company. The analog devices and land-lines are fully integrated with the VoIP PBX, giving unified management for all VoIP and analog equipment. The flexibility provided through the VoIP PBX is also made available to the analog part of the voice network. The analog connectivity also allows for legacy devices, like fax machines, to be connected to SOLO Gateway and interoperate with the PBX.
