Instant Messaging is underestimated in a corporate environment. SOLO Gateway provides a XMPP-compatible IM Server with all features found in such services, while enabling the use of any XMPP-compatible client s/w.

SOLO Gateway features optional logging of messages, for archiving reasons. Most every-day communications through Instant Messaging include usefull information that are not recorded for future reference. With SOLO Gateway, the corporate IM history can be indexed and searched based on time-frames and involved parties, and recovery of conversation records can be easily made.

Last but not least, the messaging traffic never leaves the Local Area Network, thus securing everyday corporate communications. Additional encryption is also incorporated, so to safeguard against traffic routed through the Internet, in case of remote text-conference parties.
