SOLO Gateway is a complete data network infrastructure. As such, it provides total and flexible management of the local area network, with services like DHCP, DNS, SNMP, Proxy, and many more. The basic management of the local network is an integral part of SOLO Gateway. It provides a simple, yet flexible, approach to network management, with a fully-configurable DHCP Server, support of the SNMP protocol, a caching DNS Server, and all the services found in modern network devices. The design of SOLO Gateway allow for it to operate either in a simple environment, where all the settings are automatically configured, or in a more complex environment, where some of the settings can be obtained automatically and some can be configured by the user. SOLO Gateway provides a Proxy Server, which allows better exploitation of the internet connection by storing locally any frequently accessed content, thus preventing unnecessary data traffic from using your internet connection. The DNS Server provided can host any number of domain-names in SOLO Gateway and acts as a caching name server, again lightening the burden of your internet connection.
